Three horrors await Americans who get behind the wheel of a car for a family road trip this summer: the spiraling price of gas, the usual choruses of "are-we-there-yet?" -- and the road rage of fellow drivers.
Divine intervention might be needed for the first two problems, but science has discovered a solution for the third.
Watch out for cars with bumper stickers.
My husband and I attended The Hartford Open Money Meetup on Monday night. I must say, we were very surprised by how enlightening it was.
We have attended other meetups (through MeetUp.com ) with other people who have online businesses and who are interested in network marketing, but we actually LEARNED about making money with Google Adsense at this meeting.

If you think everybody these days wears a seat belt when he or she drives, think again. Believe it or not, after all these years, a significant percentage of American drivers still don't buckle up. That's why the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) designates 1 week in May every year as Buckle Up America Week. Be sure to take time for a safety meeting on the importance of seat belt use. Here's some ammunition you can use to make the point.

I suppose the title should properly be called An Afternoon in Burlingame" since that is where I am, technically, but as far as I am concerned, I flew into SFO this morning and I will fly out of SFO around midnight tonight so I am in SF for the day! Besides, many people outside of this area have no idea what state Burlingame is in nevermind what city it is near...
